Monthly Round-up: February '26
Skip to: February Top 10 Getting back into the routine of school days as we're now a month into term 1. I'm really trying to be more consistent with lunchbox prep this year - having snacks that I know both kids will eat, and it saves me time in the mornings when it's just grab and go. Making my own snacks is great because firstly - I know what's in them (not full of excess sugar or other nonsense!) and secondly - I'm not buying them weekly which is expensive and awful for

Monthly Round-up: January '26
Skip to: January Top 10 Wow, it's been a hot start to the year - seems like Summer has really begun here in Melbourne. During the extreme 40 degree days we just keep the aircon on and stay indoors, but there's also been the perfectly sunny, blue skied days where we've loved getting out and exploring the beautiful place we live! A little behind on the post this month, as I've been working on a refined (instagram friendly) format. Here's January's belated round-up: New Year's

Monthly Round-up: December '25
Skip to: December Top 10 Ok, so I under-estimated how long it would take to get this post done during the school holidays! Monthly Roundup - November '25
Skip to: November Top 10 Ahh the final month of Spring in Australia. The beautiful sunny days that we usually get to enjoy were few and far between this year! Melbourne really struggled to shake off Winter, and it remained under 23 degrees most of the time, bringing buckets of rain and even some hail. At least when there was a nice day, we truly appreciated it. The garden came back to life and the warm sun was pleasant without being burning hot! Here's this months' round-up:

Monthly Roundup - October '25
Skip to: October Top 10 September was an absolute blip - it went by so fast for me, anyone else? So, I was really glad that October slowed down a bit. Maybe that's because I went on a short trip back home to Townsville. Life always slows down in the tropics!! Here's this months' round-up: Early in the month we drove across Melbourne to visit some family which was lovely. Did need to look up some 'road trip' I-spy games along the way with calls of boredom from the back seat.
